I have been going her for quite a while now .. and I really really enjoy it. I've had the chile rellenos which are pretty decent, nothing like my mom makes but c'mon no ones cooking is like momma cooking right? But they are good, also the asada burrito is damn good.. I love there rice and beans..and the chips and salsa forget it.. addicting we go though at least 2 baskets. Only thing Ive been annoyed with lately is that Ive wanted to try different things on the menu and they have been sold out. On a Sunday they had no menudo,cmon that's blasphemy! and then I wanted to try the chorizo con huevos and also no dice.. but that only means there really good right. I wont hold it against them. The service is great,everyone is super nice and I LOVE the decor, the paining of the wall of all the Great Singers of musica ranchera is beautiful I never get tired of looking at it!

Another Mexican Restaurant? Yeah but this one's a keeper! Located across the street from the blue line (Wardlow Station) this new Mexican restaurant serves up some great food. Having just opened you can tell that they are still working through the difficulties of starting a business, but these are small, and most issues seem to be with dealing with the amount of patrons.....you can tell it's quickly becoming a local favorite. It doesn't take long for word to spread about good food. My wife and I have tried a few of the dishes and have not been disappointed in the least, Guadalupe's is now becoming our favorite Mexican food place in Long beach, over our old favorite Super Mex. The food and prices are exceptional, all of the dishes are between $7.50 and $11 bucks, and a whole slew of burritos starting around $5.

I want to give this pace a 5 star rating, but Ive only been there twice. once i had menudo on a Saturday morning and tonight i had the carnitas. both items were very good and the service was awesome. i suspect at some point, they will earn my 5 stars, but until then, know this place is very clean, cozy and the food rocks! i highly recommend Guadalupes and I hope you all give it a try.
